Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our premium marine-grade upholstery.
What makes marine vinyl different from standard upholstery fabric?
Marine vinyl is specifically engineered to withstand harsh outdoor environments. It features UV resistance to prevent fading, antimicrobial additives to resist mold and mildew, and a waterproof surface that protects against salt water and moisture.
How is the fabric shipped to prevent creasing?
To ensure your material arrives in perfect condition, all marine vinyl orders are rolled on a heavy-duty cardboard tube and wrapped in protective plastic. We do not fold our vinyl, as folding can cause permanent creases in the material.
Can I request samples before placing a bulk order?
Yes, we highly recommend ordering swatches to ensure the color and texture meet your requirements. Screen resolutions can vary, so seeing the fabric in person is the best way to guarantee a perfect match for your boat or home project.
What is your return policy for cut-to-length fabrics?
Because our fabric is custom-cut from the roll specifically for your order, we generally do not accept returns unless the item is defective or damaged upon arrival. Please double-check your measurements before completing your purchase.
Is this vinyl suitable for indoor furniture or automotive use?
Absolutely. While it is built for the rigors of marine use, its durability and ease of cleaning make it an excellent choice for high-traffic indoor furniture, restaurant booths, gym equipment, and automotive interiors.
How should I clean and maintain my marine vinyl?
Maintain your vinyl by wiping it down with mild soap and warm water. Avoid using harsh chemicals, bleach, or silicone-based protectants, as these can break down the protective topcoat and lead to premature cracking.
